Welcome to the road…

Notes from the Road

By Cali West

I didn’t set out to start a blog.

I drove across the country instead.

Somewhere between Seattle rain and Florida humidity, I realized the road wasn’t just pavement — it was a mirror. Money pressure. Reinvention at 60. A body that reminds me I’m not 30. Dreams that refuse to retire.

This isn’t a travel blog.

It’s a record of motion.

Motion through places.
Motion through doubt.
Motion through seasons of life most people don’t post about.

I’m not here to teach.
I’m not here to impress.
I’m here to document what it feels like to keep moving when standing still would be easier.

If you’re somewhere between who you were and who you might become, welcome.

Pull up a chair. The coffee’s hot.
